Smart Commerce SE augments Management

Jena, 1st September, 2013: Smart Commerce SE appoints Frank Schneider as COO.

Frank Schneider (46) joins the Executive Management Team as Chief Operation Officer on 1 September 2013. In this way Smart Commerce gives a clear sign in the direction of growth and customer focus. After 24 years of experience in the IT industry, 18 years in eCommerce, he is an expert in his field and a considerable recruitment for the start-up company. 

After 16 years as branch manager at Intershop Communication AG in Stuttgart, he has extensive experience in the areas of People Management, Project Management, Software Development and Quality Management and will support all employees with his know-how as well as actively during meetings with customers. An additional office in the area of Stuttgart is planned. 

At Intershop Frank Schneider was, among other things, responsible for projects with major customers like Bosch, Daimler, Merck, Smart, Styrolution and Würth. During this time he had gained experiences in the field of large B2C and B2B eCommerce solutions and he got to know the specific requirements of the automotive a chemical industry.
