The company, based in Osnabrück since 2011, has developed an innovative program where participants collect bonus points through payment with ec-card at partners to later exchange them for gifts or other bonuses of for premium deals at regional partners. Thus, the company offers an attractive alternative to Payback and Deutschland Card and has already acquired the shoe retailer Reno as a first partner. 

The management and shareholders of bonus Inside Zahlungs- und Bonuskarten Verwaltungs GmbH have engaged Smart Commerce to render a survey and assessment of the business IT. The customer benefits of the study were to receive a well-founded assessment of the overall IT concept, mainly concerning the current state of the system and the system security as well as to get an overview of which measures and investments are needed in the future for the further development. The technological implementation was realized with LAMP-components (Linux-operating system, Apache-webserver, MySQL-data base system, PHP- scripting language).
